The pits are on the a285 now if you come down the a27 from either worthing way or portsmouth follow the a27 till you get to tangmere and there is a roundabout there,then take the 1st exit off (portsmouth) or the 3rd exit (worthing) marked up for boxgrove/petworth then go though boxgrove village and follow that road all the way till you get to a set of cross roads then turn right which then you are in halnaker village then dive thought the village and as you come out of the village you go up a slight hill and as you come to the top of that the turning for the pit is on you left,if you come to a road turning on the right sayin eartham then you have missed it.
