Here's my pride and joy! the bike is one of Stuart Edmonds race bikes from 2011, which was maintained by TMuk. In Nov'11 TMuk gave the bike a complete nut and bolt rebuild and 2012 engine internals.
The bike has all of the usual TM Racing refinements including Marzocchi 50mm forks, Ohlins shock, [both serviced 1 ride ago] plus switchable engine maps, billet Triple Clamps, Billet Hubs laced to Excel Rims, Brembo Hydraulic Clutch Actuation and also a Scalvini exhaust.
The engine features some TMuk in-house cylinder head flow work whilst retaining the stock titanium valves, beryllium valve seats and camshafts, as already mentioned the engine also uses the 2012 specification billet con-rod assembly and matching forged Wiseco piston with DLC coated gudgeon pin.
The bike was bought at the beginning of 2012 by a guy that raced in the RB pronationals, he had 2 bikes and this was his race bike so was pretty low hours when i got it off him. when i picked it up i was told it had 6hrs on the piston, i've done another 2hrs since having it.
I also had new wheel bearings all round, plus steering bearing, new clutch slave cylinder, sprockets and tyres fitted. The bearings, tyres and suspension have only done 1 outing since the service at Motoxpro.
The reason for selling is that this bike is a full-on race bike and needs to be ridden hard. It comes alive when you give it 110%, im not good enough to get the best out of it and hence I’m looking to sell and get something easier to ride.
i've got some spare plastics, and as you can imagine it’s got the usual scratches that a mx bike will pick up.
BAD POINTS
the rear hub has a crack on one of the brake lugs and long term will need to be replaced.
The exhaust carbon end cap had a piece missing round the back, but you only see when you're looking for it.
